Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Maintenance Assistants, Groundskeepers, and Cleaning Staff.
- Schedule and carry out preventative maintenance for all facilities.
- Perform maintenance and repairs, addressing issues reported by staff or identified during inspections, including plumbing and electrical work.
- Supervise groundskeeping to maintain lawns and outdoor spaces, ensuring cleanliness and proper waste management.
- Conduct monthly inspections of buildings and systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) to identify maintenance needs and ensure optimal function.
- Log and prioritize infrastructure issues, maintain detailed records, and submit weekly reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and mitigate potential hazards.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Plumber or any other relevant trade will be advantageous.
- Valid driver’s licence
- Proven experience in facilities management and maintenance supervision.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Remuneration:
- R20,000 to R25,000 per month, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
